A plane carrying the body of Zimbabwe's former leader Robert Mugabe landed in Harare's International airport on Wednesday almost a week after his death in a Singapore hospital. Footage shows military personnel carrying the coffin and people on the streets.
A funeral is expected to take place on Sunday but the exact location remains unknown as some of Mugabe's relatives objected to the government's plan to bury him in his home village of Kutama.
Robert Mugabe was a leading figure of the independence movement that saw his country breaking away from the British rule in 1980. He remained in power until 2017 when he he was toppled by his own army.
