The under-construction Yuxi-Mohan Railway, a key part of China-Laos International Railway Corridor, will connect southwest China's Yunnan Province with Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. There's a group of young technicians who are devoting their prime of life to Yuanjiang Bridge project, a key part of the railway linking Yunnan's Yuxi City and Mohan City, contributing much to the construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area.

Zhou Jiawu, a 27-year-old technician, and his co-workers make measurements and set locations of lofting everyday. To avoid their lofting precision being affected by the temperature changes of the sun, they usually get up at five and drive 12 kilometers on mountain roads so as to finish measuring before 09:00.
