Mourners attended funerals for a high-profile commander and ten soldiers from Yemen's UAE-backed forces in the port city of Aden on Wednesday. Footage shows coffins being brought for a military ceremony near the presidential palace and the burial.
The soldiers were killed in a strike on a military parade in Aden last week. Houthi forces said they were behind the attack carried out with a drone and a missile.
Brigadier General Munir Mahmoud Ahmad al-Mashali, known as Abu Yamamah al-Yafaei, was a prominent figure in the so-called Security Belt force. It is trained and supported by the UAE which is part of the Saudi-led coalition fighting against the Houthis.
