Yellow vest protesters held their 56th round of demonstrations over economic injustice in Paris and other cities, under the close watch of police. The marchers appear to be emboldened by the biggest nationwide strike in years that kicked off a mass movement against President Emmanuel Macron's plan to redesign the pension system.

The yellow vests planned to march from the French Finance Ministry to Porte de Versailles in Paris. French police joined the march, some scuffles broke out on Saturday with tear gas fired.
