According to Geek.com, "In Israel, scientists revealed what they claim is the world’s first 3D print of a heart with human tissues and vessels, stating that it’s a “major medical breakthrough” that might benefit" transplant patients." Tal Dvir, a professor who led the project, told the press, this is "the first time anyone anywhere has successfully engineered and printed an entire heart replete with cells, blood vessels, ventricles, and chambers.
