The White House defended President Donald Trump's comments that Democrats were "anti-Jewish" on Monday which he made after a House vote last week on a resolution broadly condemning hatred, rather than specifically condemning anti-Semitism and discrimination against Muslims.

The resolution came after Omar suggested Israel's supporters have an "allegiance to a foreign country," comments which angered many.

The White House said Trump has condemned hatred in "all of its forms."

She also briefly commented on whether Trump has condemned past comments by Rep. Steve King, which some saw as anti-Semitism, saying she's called them "abhorrent" in the past and she speaks on behalf of Trump.
