Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, asked Tim Morrison, a former White House official who served on the National Security Council, whether his fears that the details of the call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president would be leaked were realized. Morrison said the details of the call had not been leaked and were instead detailed in a whistleblower complaint. The White House released the contents of the July 25 call in a note which shows that Trump requested Ukraine’s president investigate 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. Morrison had testified earlier that he was concerned about the political fallout from the call and that his fears were realized. “You called it all. You saw this coming,” Jordan said. Morrison testified Nov. 19 before the House Intelligence Committee in the Trump impeachment inquiry.
