House impeachment manager Rep. Adam Schiff argued in favor of an amendment meant to prevent selective admission of evidence into the Senate. Schiff said this was an amendment “based on simple fairness,” adding that it’ll help the proceedings gain additional information that will help with transparency. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives in December on two articles — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The Senate will now decide whether to convict Trump of those charges and remove him from office, or acquit him.
