Speaking to reporters in Rome, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo confirmed reports that he was on a July phone call in which President Donald Trump asked Ukraine's president to investigate former vice president and 2020 presidential rival Joe Biden and his family. The phone call is at the center of an impeachment inquiry into Trump, launched by Democrats in September after the White House released notes of the conversation.
