All of those restless nights counting sheep really add up.

Most people would pay up for a better night’s sleep.

Take it from a new survey of 2,000 Americans conducted by OnePoll on behalf of ZzzQuil.

The goal was to find out the price people would pay to get their beauty rest.

The average person would pay just over $307 for a single perfect night’s sleep!

But some would resort to even crazier methods for a year of perfect sleep.

One in four would shave their heads – no more bed head for them!

25% crave better sleep, and said they’d eat only peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch for a year.

The $307 bucks from before is chump change, considering 24% said they’d pay $2,000 for a year of perfect sleep.

As for what they’d give up, booze.

34% said they’d give up alcohol for a year of perfect sleep.

And I must be dreaming because as an avid fan, 33% said they’d give up watching reality TV.

And 1 in 5 would give up sex in the name of a year’s worth of good rest.

The ZzzQuil survey showed people have gone beyond wishful thinking and headed to the store to help with their sleep troubles.

Just over 30% said they bought sleeping supplements to try and get a better night’s sleep.

28% just couldn’t sleep it off and shelled out big bucks for a new mattress.

If that’s you, it’s not just your bank account that’s in trouble, it’s your health.

The National Sleep Foundation says sleeping for less than 7 hours a night can contribute to health problems like heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

So, practice getting so good at sleep, you can do it with your eyes closed!
