Thousands of Venezuelan migrants are flooding through Ecuador from Colombia as they make their way towards Peru. On Friday, June 14, some of the migrants who had crossed the border into Ecuador in the town of Carchi made their way to the bus stations to purchase tickets and board the next bus out. According to Peruvian authorities more than 820,000 Venezuelans have settled in Peru since 2016. 270,000 have sought refugee status. Venezuelans have poured into Peru fleeing the crisis-wracked South American nation. (AP)
