One of the world's biggest cybersecurity conferences Black Hat 2019 kicked off in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
Balck Hat's founder Jeff Moss and leading cybersecurity expert Dino Dai Zovi addressed the crowd who had gathered for the start of the conference.
"We are in the centralisation phase which leads to a convenient target for law enforcement and for regulation and I think if the centralisation trend continues, none of us will be surprised that we are regulated," said Moss in his keynote speech.
Launched in 1997, the security conference attracts thousands of attendees and attempts to tackle some of the more pressing issues in cyber security.
Black Hat 2019 will be immediately followed by the DEF CON hacker convention set to run from August 8 to 11.
