US President Donald Trump said he will meet Kim Jong Un by May, the Republic of Korea (ROK) national security adviser Chung Eui-yong said on Thursday at a joint presser at the White House.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) offered to refrain from further nuclear or missile tests, he announced.

The ROK envoy also said that Kim Jong Un, DPRK's top leader, understands that the routine US-ROK military exercise must continue.
