Exit polls show the party of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has won a snap parliamentary election.

The former comedian called the vote after his landslide victory in April, as parliament was packed with his opponents.

While polls suggest his party will obtain a majority, Zelensky will need to seek a coalition partner to govern.
