Buses reportedly carrying Russian detainees to be swapped with Moscow in a prisoners' exchange arrived at Boryspil Airport in Kiev on Saturday.

Ruptly's footage shows a photo of preparations for the exchange of prisoners at Boryspil Airport but the agency has not been able to independently identify those on board of the buses which arrived at the so-called ‘military terminal’ of the airport.

Nikolai Prozorov, the lawyer of Ukrainian sailors detained in Russia, has stated earlier via his Twitter account that the process of prisoners exchange "has begun’"

On September 5 Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the possible prisoner exchange, saying that Moscow and Kiev "are approaching the finalisation of the negotiations", adding that the swap would be a "large-scale one, and this would be a good step towards the normalisation of our relations."
