An advertising campaign to promote Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to London hit the streets of the English capital on Wednesday.

Images of the Prince’s face adorned the sides of black cabs, double-decker buses and billboards throughout the city centre under the hashtag '#ANewSaudiArabia', sparking controversy with locals.

The advertising space is said to have cost up to £1m (€1.12m) and has caused a furore over Saudi Arabia’s human rights record.
