UK Environment Secretary Michael Gove opened the debate on a no-deal Brexit instead of a sore-throat suffering Theresa May in the House of Commons in London on Wednesday.

The environment secretary said that "as a result of the House's failure to agree to the deal that the Prime Minister presented last night, we now face a number of unattractive choices. And it is important that the House realises that all of these choices are less attractive than support for the deal that the Prime Minister negotiated."

The House of Commons is set to vote on accepting a no-deal Brexit later on Wednesday.
