Supporters and opponents of Brexit were going head to head outside Parliament on Thursday evening.
The two groups engaged in shouting matches and had to be separated by a line of police.
On College Green, Health Secretary Matt Hancock gave his assessment of Brexit in an interview.
Earlier, Members of Parliament (MPs) voted by 413 to 202 - a majority of 211 - UK Prime Minister Theresa May to ask the European Union for a delay to Brexit.
The UK may not now leave on March 29 as previously planned.
Brexit could be delayed until June 30 if MPs back the prime minister's Withdrawal Agreement in a vote next week.
If they reject her deal, May says she will seek a longer extension, although any deal has to be agreed by the 27 other member states.
