London students joined thousands around the globe in cancelling school and joining climate change protests, for a second consecutive week on Friday.

The students rallied under the 'YouthStrike4Climate' banner and reportedly blocked busy streets in the English capital whilst carrying banners and chanting.

Within the past months, students have regularly ditched school on Fridays to join protests around the globe to demand stricter policies to combat climate change.

"One day, it makes such a difference. School is not even worth it, it's not even a question," said one young protester.
