Hundreds, including UK Prime Minister Theresa May, gathered in the Northern Irish capital of Belfast on Wednesday for the funeral of Lyra McKee, a 29-year-old journalist who was shot during riots in Derry on April 18.

Footage shows the hearse arriving and the coffin being carried into St Anne's Cathedral.

May was joined by Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Northern Ireland Secretary of State Karen Bradley at the ceremony.

McKee was struck by a bullet during rioting in Derry last Thursday. Police blamed dissident Republicans known as the 'New IRA' for the murder and are treating McKee's death as a 'terrorist incident.'
