According to a report by Reuters, on Sunday, Britain's education minister said that European elections will be difficult for the nation's governing Conservatives after their party fell to fourth place in an opinion poll. Both of Britain’s main parties, which remain deeply divided over how to leave the EU, causing the Conservatives to lose votes to the new Brexit Party, led by veteran eurosceptic campaigner Nigel Farage. Education minister Damian Hinds said, "I don’t think anyone is in any doubt these are going to be difficult elections for us ... for some people this is the ultimate protest vote opportunity."
