Hundreds of protesters flooded Glasgow on Friday, as people gathered to voice their discontent over the results of the UK general election which saw current Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Conservative Party securing the majority.

People held banners against Johnson, chanting: "Hey, hey, ho, ho, Boris Johnson has to go."

"We are marching for our freedom and for our country and for all the vulnerable people who have been fucked over by the Tories," said protester Emma Beekman.

Johnson's Conservatives secured the biggest majority since the 1980s with 364 seats, with one result still to be declared, while the Labour party won 203 seats, down 42 from 2017.
