The governor of Turkey's Hatay province said at least 29 Turkish soldiers were killed and many more injured in an air strike in the Syrian province of Idlib on Thursday.

Footage shows emergency services and onlookers as some of the injured were taken to the Reyhanli state hospital.

Turkey reportedly launched retaliatory strikes against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

SAA forces have been trying to retake Idlib from armed groups supported by Turkey.
