Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hopes that the Czech Republic will extradite the former leader of a Syrian Kurdish political party, he said in a speech from Urfa on Sunday.
SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey (Turkish): "Now the head of the PYD (Democratic Union Party), has been caught, yes. He has been caught. Our hope, God willing, is that the Czech Republic will hand him over to Turkey and may justice manifest. They broke up the religious community, they tore this nation apart. That's why we are fighting these terrorists. Otherwise we do not have a problem with our Kurdish brothers. Our problem is with terrorists."And we are going to continue this fight in the same way. My brothers, thank God that Afrin is falling down slowly. I ask you to pray for our martyrs, for their souls. My brothers, our Mehmets (soldiers) and FSA soldiers are fighting in this battle hand ro hand, shoulder to shoulder. May God praise them. And as Allah says in the gospel (reading from Qur'an in Arabic): 'Victory from Allah, and conquest is soon, do tell the believers the good news.' I hope that we expect victory in Afrin soon." *MULTIPLE SHOTS AT SOURCE*
