U.S. President Donald Trump took questions from reporters after welcoming Ecuador’s President Lenin Moreno to the White House on Wednesday.

Trump said his tweet congratulating U.S. Attorney General William Barr did not amount to political interference in the case of his advisor Roger Stone, claiming that Stone had been “treated very badly,” and said prosecutors who resigned over the Department of Justice’s decision to intervene in the case “oughtta go back to school.”

Later, asked what lessons he learned after being acquitted on impeachment charges, Trump took aim at Democrats, calling them “crooked” and “vicious.”
