U.S. President Donald Trump landed in California Saturday, Nov. 17 to assess the damage from deadly wildfires that have killed at least 70 people and displaced hundreds on the U.S. West Coast.

Trump was greeted on the tarmac at Beale Air Force Base by outgoing Governor Jerry Brown and his Lieutenant, Governor-elect Gavin Newsom.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters that Trump advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner was on board Air Force One with the president, along with White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, other lawmakers and several California politicians.
