The United Kingdom's Conservative Party rivals Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt have traded blows in a TV debate over Brexit and the furor over leaked comments on US President Donald Trump's administration.

They're both in the running to take over the Tory leadership when Prime Minister Theresa May steps down.

Both men said they would leave the European Union without a deal.

But Johnson was vague on details.
