For whatever reason, plenty of people live in incredibly small spaces, with even tinier kitchens.
But according to Refinery29, that shouldn't stop you from being able to fry some chicken!
To begin, get the right pot: big enough to hold enough oil to cover the chicken, without overflowing.
If the oil overflows, it could start a fire. Not enough oil, and you'll have to turn the chicken over mid-fry.
That's tricky, and dangerous if you don't have the right tools.
Speaking of tools, be sure to have some sturdy metal tongs or a slotted spoon. No plastic!
Finally, getting the temperature right is tricky to eyeball. Get a food thermometer.
If the oil temperature is too low, the coating can come off.
If it's too high, you could smoke out your apartment, which is not ideal!
