Time magazine released its 16th annual 100 Most Influential People for 2019 list.
Channel24 describes it as "a doozy."
Divided into five categories: Pioneers, Artists, Leaders, Icons and Titans the list includes standout faces in government, business, entertainment, health, sports and science.
Global artists, activists, leaders and visionaries who grabbed top spots this year include stars like The Rock, Taylor Swift, Regina King, Chrissy Teigen, Lady Gaga, Sandra Oh, and Hasan Minhaj.
Time published six different covers, to celebrate the global influencers, photographed by Pari Dukovic.
The cover stars include Sandra Oh, Nancy Pelosi, Mohamed Salah, Taylor Swift, Gayle King and Dwayne Johnson.
Dan Macsai, editorial director of the TIME 100 explains: "When you connect extraordinary people, they can do even more extra-ordinary things."
