According to Reuters, the state of Tennessee is preparing to execute a convicted murderer by electric chair. 61 year old David Miller has spent more than 36 years on death row. He was convicted of first-degree murder for the killing of Lee Standifer, a 23-year-old woman in 1981. Miller has been on death row since March 1982. This is the second time in five weeks that Tennessee has used electrocution to carry out a death sentence. On November 1st, Edmund Zagorski, a convicted double murderer, was executed by electric chair.
