A Syrian Arab Army (SAA) convoy was seen heading towards the northwestern city of Idlib on Friday.

Footage shows vehicles and tanks on the road in Idlib province, where the Syrian army has been fighting against opposition militant groups and rapidly regaining control of areas.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that a Turkish military operation to push back the SAA from Idlib province was a "matter of time."

Ankara increased its military presence in Idlib after the SAA announced it had regained full control over the towns and villages surrounding Aleppo following an extensive offensive against militants.
