In Sudan, the fall-out from President Omar al-Bashir ouster continues. A day after the country's defense minister quit as interim leader, its security and intelligence chief has now tendered his resignation. Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan Abdelraham is now the new head of the military council that seized power earlier this week. The army, however, says it plans to pave the way for a civilian government within two years.
