Sudan's Transitional Military Council has asked protest leaders to return to talks- but this time - with no strings attached..

They also want an international investigation into the violence and the resumption of internet services.

Negotiations collapsed after a paramilitary group launched a deadly crackdown on protesters earlier this month.

Al Jazeera's Priyanka Gupta reports.
