Ford Motor Company unveiled its new Bullitt Mustang at the Detroit Motor Show on Monday, designed in honor of the Steve McQueen-starring 1968 film Bullitt.
The original Bullitt used in the making of the film sat beside the sleek new edition. Mustang Marketing Manager Mark Schaller presented the 2019 Mustang Bullitt as "all about trying to mimic the coolness and the cool factor from the original car chase scene."
The Bullitt features enhanced horsepower with 475 bhp and a V8 engine producing a top-speed of 163 mph (262 kph). The 2019 Mustang Bullitt will be on sale from summer 2018.
