A Palestinian woman was reportedly killed, while 26 others were injured, after Israeli forces shot live ammunition on Palestinian protesters at the Gaza-Israel border, near Shajaiya, on Friday, as the 'Great March of Return' protests continue.

The woman, whose identity is yet to be established, was killed after she was shot in the head, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. Moreover, officials inform that a journalist and a paramedic were among the casualties during Friday's rally.

The March of Return, launched in late March, form a series of protests along the Israeli-Palestinian border to demand the right for Palestinians to return to their families' pre-1948 homes.
