FC Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde warned against complacency after his side moved one step to closer to the title with a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad at the Nou Camp on Saturday.
"We are aware that we are nine points ahead of second place. We have to get that idea out of our heads," Valverde told reporters at a post-match press conference
"We are now reaching the final part of the season in which everything is conclusive. We have to keep going. Our opponents will push us to the end. Nothing is handed to you on a plate," he added.
Clement Lenglet opened the scoring with a header from a corner. Juanmi equalised for the visitors in the second-half, but Jordi Alba restored the lead two minutes later with a low strike.
The win means Barcelona remain nine points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid, who temporarily replaced them at the top of La Liga earlier on Saturday.
Valverde's side now only need six points from their remaining five games to retain the title.
