More than 400,000 people are trapped in the besieged Syrian enclave of Eastern Ghouta, with many in need of urgent medical evacuation as government air raids continue their bombardment for the third week. Some humanitarian aid finally arrived in neighbourhoods after Syrian government forces confiscated much of the medical and food supplies from a UN aid convoy.
