Number One Prospect for the 2019 National Hockey League (NHL) Draft, 18-year-old US hockey player Jack Hughes held a training session with his team in Kosice on Monday, ahead of a match against the UK.

Considered as the top prospect in June’s NHL draft for a while, Hughes is expected to hold the consensus label as the first pick, with Finnish winger Kaapo Kakko right behind him. Hughes faced off with Kakko last Monday, as the United States defeated Finland by 3-2 in overtime.

The 2019 IIHF World Ice Hockey Championship is being held in Slovakia from May 10 to 26, with matches being hosted in two cities - the country's capital Bratislava and the city of Kosice.
