The family of Rachelle Bergeron arrived on the remote South Pacific island of Yap to retrieve her body. The grieving family was greeted with a memorial featuring Rachelle’s favorite flower, birds of paradise. Bergeron was the 33-year-old acting attorney general on the island state when she was gunned down outside her home. The FBI has joined in the hunt for Bergeron’s killers, and investigators say they have a good idea who shot Bergeron.
