Singapore Airlines has confirmed it will relaunch nonstop flights between New York and Singapore this October. The flights, which begin October 11, will be the longest in the world with a distance of over 10,300 miles and a travel time of nearly 19 hours. The flights are expected to operate daily between Singapore Changi International Airport and New Jersey's Newark Liberty International using Airbus' new A350-900ULR airliner planes. According to Airbus, the plans will have just 161 seats on board — 67 business and 94 premium economy.
