French President Emanuel Macron arrived in Belgrade on Monday, on a two-day official visit to Serbia. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met Macron in the Palace of Serbia where two presidents held a meeting and a joint presser. Two delegations signed over 22 agreements of cooperation.

The focus of the talks were on Kosovo and Serbian path to the EU. French President Macron said that France will always support dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

"I want to say, once again, that France will be fully committed to supporting and building, along with Germany, and in the context of European mediations, not only the rekindling of a dialogue (with Kosovo), but of a demanding dialogue aiming to find a concrete solution in the months go come," Macron said.

The last French president who visited Serbia was Jacques Chirac in 2001.
