Queen Elizabeth To Lead Royal Procession

CNN reports Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is set to lead the traditional royal procession to open the 2019 Royal Ascot horse race meeting in England. The monarch, a lifelong horse racing enthusiast, will be joined in the leading horse-drawn carriage by the Duke of York, with her 98-year-old husband Prince Phillip absent, when the royal party arrives at the course on the first day of the historic and colorful event, which was first held in 1711. But Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will be absent, just over six weeks after the birth of their first child Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
