The G20 Extraordinary Virtual Leaders' Summit provides important opportunity for China to work with the international community in fight against COVID-19, a common enemy of the whole world, and what President Xi said is instructive to Hong Kong’s efforts against the epidemic, said Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

Lam said Friday at a press conference that the video summit held Thursday by leaders of the Group of 20 (G20) to coordinate multilateral response to the pandemic came as an important opportunity where China shared anti-epidemic experience with the world, and all countries should work together to prevent the spread of the virus.

Lam said Chinese President Xi Jinping's words delivered at the summit also instructed Hong Kong to start cooperation among different social circles to fight the COVID-19.!language=1
