Panama interim manager Julio Dely Valdes appeared to be relishing the challenge of facing five-time world champions Brazil.
"This game will be of great value to us," Dely Valdes told reporters at a pre-match press conference in Porto on Friday.
"t's good for us to have such a test," he added.
Panama have not won a game since qualifying for the 2018 World Cu, totting up nine losses and two draws. Gary Stempel, who replaced Hernan Dario Gomez after last summer's tournament, did not last long in the job and was quickly replaced by Julio Dely Valdes.
Saturday's match against Brazil is one of Panama's final warm-up games before this summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup.
