Brazil head coach Tite expressed his frustration with the absence of a number of stars through injury for Saturday's friendly against Panama.

"We want Neymar, as well as Filipe Luis, Fernandinho, Dani [Alves], Douglas [Costa], all of them we want to be fully fit, Vinicius [Junior]. They are all very important players and I do care about them," he told reporters at a pre-match press conference in Porto on Friday.

The Brazil boss also touched upon the form of form of debutante Vinicius Junior.

"Not a long time ago I considered Vinicius Junior a player for the medium-term. But reality showed me another thing. His top level performances at Real Madrid entitled him to be called-up," he said.

The Selecao have won their last six games since a premature exit at the 2018 World Cup, winning against the United States, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Uruguay and Cameroon. Their opponents Panama have not won a game since April 2018.

After this friendly, Brazil will play against Czech Republic in Prague in what will be the last match before the Copa America in June.
