A Polish museum is celebrating all things feline.

The cat-shaped soap dispensers, snow globes and figurines should give it away.

It’s a collection that’s 15 years in the making.

Museum operator Nataliya Koshivaya has pieces from all over the world.

The collection almost didn’t make it to its final destination in Krakow.

Koshivaya and her husband fled conflict in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.

They brought their cat collection with them to Poland.

It includes thousands of pieces.

Each figurine had to be unwrapped one-by-one to get through customs.

At least 15 were broken during the checks.

These cats have nine lives as the surviving pieces are on display.

Koshivaya plans to add to her cat collection.

She also plans to expand the museum by adding a room for real cats to live.
