Police deployed teargas on protesters who attempted at blocking roads with stones in old North Pan American Highway. At least four protesters were reportedly injured.

The action involved thousands of farmers from 15 regions across the country, with the organisers threatening to extend the protest for longer if they will not get the authorities’ attention.
