Police deployed tear gas on protesters in Paris, during the 31st weekly outing of the Yellow Vests anti-government movement on Saturday.

Footage shows a group of police in riot gear retreating into an alley before rushing out in a cloud of tear gas. Protesters are also seen gathering around someone who was injured.

Tens of thousands have marched in the streets of France every Saturday since November 2018, for a variety of grievances ranging from taxes on fuel to income inequality.
