Female activists gathered in solidarity with Kashmir in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The 'Women Kashmir March' which was called on by the Jamaat-e-Islami party, saw protesters assemble on Aabpara market carrying banners and flags and chanting.
Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami party and Member of Pakistani Parliament Siraj ul Haq condemned the lack of action from the Pakistani government on Kashmir saying, "Each of our rulers uses movie dialogues and they always depend on support from the US."
Haq stressed that Pakistanis were fully ready for what he called ' Jihad for Kashmir Freedom', saying that "I have found Pakistan nation in a full alert. My nation is ready to fight on the call of mothers, sisters and daughters from across Kashmir, the nation is ready to advance (in Kashmir) and to sacrifice lives."
