Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced $25M to fight gun violence in Toronto however he says he doesn't support a handgun ban in Toronto saying this would punish legal and responsible gun owners.

Ford used Chicago as an example, saying a handgun ban hasn't stopped shootings. However, that city's handgun ban was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2010.
